*OUR INHERITANCE* This life is just preparing us for what we'll really be. Forever. In the ages to come. Now, we're like a seed but seeds weren't meant to stay that way. They have to die and be buried to become what they're intended to be. The Bible says that God will resurrect our bodies at the return of Jesus, and we will live here on the earth with Him, and those who are saved. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) Then we will be "LIKE HIM" and we will be "MADE PERFECT" when we receive our new "IMMORTAL BODY". Then we will inherit ALL that belongs to the Father in the heavens and on the earth, and He will make us "kings and priests", We will rule the nations with Him as co-owners of the world. "Do not fear little flock, it is the Father's good pleasure to give you the keys to the kingdom" Luke 12:32 Philippians 3:21 He will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body. Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. 1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on in corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Revelation 21:7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. Matthew 25:34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’ That's what makes Christianity special, no other religion or false god ever imagined has even began to offer THIS kind of love to us. The kind of love that we have for our own children, we offer them ALL that we have. Ephesians 1:3 He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. 1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! John 15:9 As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. How to be saved: Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Ask God to forgive your sins Believe that Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins, and that He rose from the dead Confess your faith in Him Decide to obey His commands Our words have meaning to God, when we pray to ask Him to save us, He hears. The vows we make to Him are binding, like wedding vows. An everlasting covenant. Psalm 56:12 Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God; Pray a prayer like this to be saved: Pray: Lord Jesus, I believe you are the son of God and that you died for me. Please forgive my sins and save me. I promise to serve you all of my life. Our testimony, what we say about Him to others, matters. If you love someone you're not ashamed to confess it. Matthew 10:32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." The word "Lord" means "master", and He's not out master if we're not willing to do what He says. Psalm 119:112 I have inclined my heart to obey your laws Forever, to the very end. |
